Worst Case Scenario: What If The Internet Were To Shut Down?

These Mayans 2012 predictions couldn't have come a better time, if only the movie "2012" could have been released in 1984 neh? It would have made the "predictions" less believable, Internet and all.

The Internet shutting down?? I know, I know the likelihood of that happening are slim to none, just like how that crazy scientist proposed how the world is in actual fact not the center of the universe.

Just thought I should probe your mind a little, in the very sober holiday season state you are in.

How well insured are you against something of that magnitude happening though?

Can you use your online skills offline as well?

Maybe I just idolize the past but I believe that one needs to include diversification in the way one sees the Internet also.

So that just like the world ended in the year 2000 & the Mayans prediction comes true, we would have in our possession hard copies of the fun stuff we posted on the net.

I hate to say it, but come to think about it, if people buy into these predictions like they did the millennium craze, enough to influence other spineless crowd followers into fear, then I have no choice but to capitalize on this unfounded fear of death like I know other corporates will.

And knowing what the media is capable of - see Zeitgeist Movie - I am sure they will play their part in trying to make us run around like headless chickens while reaping the rewards of our staged vulnerability, as short term as it might be.

Who knows, maybe they will prolong this fear by leaking rumors of how one can't be really certain WHEN the world would end (remember the fun the media had in issuing the "war on terrorism"), holding us in the state of uncertainty while finding a way to vacuum clean our pockets.

If you teach a large enough crowd how to fear, then you will always have control over them.

The modern day version of mass dictatorship.

Online journals should have offline versions.

Notes on your "crack"berry must be written out for you to see whether the battery in on or off.

Something to re-awaken your senses, to make you feel human again, something you can touch, smell, taste, hear, and see.

Interacting with another human being instead of feeling repelled by them. Having a fear of crowds but no minding participating within a forum of a million or more people globally.

Relationships are key, heavens, you might even realize that they are the link to everything else. As in the state of your overall relationships are the result of the state of your finances and your health.

When chaos abounds within your life or/ and body remembering the fundamentals could save your life. That in how we are human BEINGS and not human DOINGS.

Slow down.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in and feel yourself taking a slow, deliberate breath out.

And see things (life) from a different love (light, same thing).

Yours in eternal peace, and ever-flowing joy,

Musa

PS. Yes, with all things said "2012" is quiet entertaining, if Sci-Fi and thriller and killer graphics are your thing.

I absolutely love the ending though when the world...nah, what a spoiler that would be. Grab a copy retailing at Amazon.com for $14.99 at the time of this posting, if you don't have one already or the DVD rentals are out of stock, to know what I meant about the awesome, awesome ending.

5 Reasons Why It Is That Some Are Blessed More Than Others

Reason #1

It could be as simple as because they practice the discipline of thanksgiving every day. Oh ja that reminds me:
(1) I am thankful for witnessing the joy in my mother's face and the dancing moves she and my aunts were making to the tune of the Christmas spirit because it filled my heart with that warm fuzzy feeling that at times feels foreign to me. It puts me back into the Vortex.

(2) I am thankful for the relationships I have and continue to establish because they put me in a position & choice to give love to them which in turn makes me experience happiness. And I think that is what life is all about: "Finding" Happiness.

(3) I am thankful for for my family because I see it in their eyes that they would move mountains for me to make sure that I am happy, loved, safe & well taken cared of. And I love them for that.

Reason #2

Now that is out of the way, I believe some are more blessed than others become they give blessings to all things, good or bad.

Because they know, in some form or another, that in whatever it that is happening there is a good reason behind it, even if at first sight there IS nothing good about it.

It is as if they know, in some way, that we all live in an orderly universe and all things make sense, or return back to order, eventually it's just a matter of riding it out until you do.

Reason #3.

Why is it that some are blessed more than others? Maybe it;s because they have faith. No actually we all have faith, what we need to strengthen is having faith in things going right for us, even against all odds, than having faith in things going wrong for us.

I used to be under the charge of a team leader who, no matter what happened, she turned projects or tasks or instructions from management into negative things. Always making sure we knew were she stood on the matter, which was not in a positive light mostly (come to think of it I wonder why she hasn't linked this negative thinking to her wavering health...oh well), even if it was good news.

She did it so well that even some of her/ my team members adopted her thinking. It was an amazing thing to watch, that was.

How suggesting a certain way of looking at something to someone can, with persistence, influence that person's view of life. Subtle yet effective. Thank God I am an active reader of Think And Grow Rich.

Reason #4

I guess maybe that's another reason reason why some are more blessed than others, maybe it is because they hang around with people who FEEL blessed and make it vocal of how fortunate they are to be breathing, to have a job or money coming in that puts food on the table or have an idea of what they want out of life and have a plan that they are executing to reach those goals or other "insignificants" they make significant.

(It reminds me of a Jim Rohn article about Evaluating Associations, Part 1 and you read also read Evaluating Associations, Part 2 here.)

You know, those people that achieve things that some of us are jealous of that we eventually equate their success with sleeping with the boss, drug dealings, the devil, corruption, luck, silver spoons, jean sizes, the stars, witchcraft, etc?

It's funny how that works isn't it?

How people criticize that which they want to become and wonder why they aren't getting it? Yes I meant "getting it" in both ways.

You can't expect to become something you don't like. You brain won't allow it.

The brain is set up to make you avoid things that would harm you. It's like your on-board survival kit. So if you bad mouthing things tells the brain that those are the things you want to avoid, then you turn around and yearn for them?

The logic, pun unintended, behind that thinking, pun intended, is screwy.

Reason #5.

They see themselves as blessed. This line of thinking most see as arrogance, I see it as Deliberate Creation - regularly "acting as if" until life gives you ways of actually living and become the things you are acting out. I have come to a point where I don't give a hoot what others say, especially when it comes to getting what I want in life so this reason works best for me.

"A belief is only a thought you keep thinking." - Abraham-Hicks

So keep thinking a thought until you believe, i.e. affirm everyday of every morning and every night the words, "I am blessed" and therefore you are.

And if the above doesn't come easy for you, then I invite you to work at it until it does. You have everything to gain and nothing to lose when you do.

How To Turn Your MS Word Docs Into PDFs...Well It's At Least One Of The Ways

I always wondered how I could convert my Microsoft Office into a PDF.

Pat O'Bryan said I must try OpenOffice.org but, as we all know, the internet moves so fast that some of the sites you have as referrals get pulled from the net.

So I Googled "PDF GENERATOR" and out came http://www.anything2pdf.com amongst the list.

God bless Daniel Procter who happens to be a web developer over at http://www.danielprocter.com/ if that might interest you.

So I tried turning one of my MS Word docs into Adobe format and presto!

I can now go and show off to my friends on how techno savvy I am :D

Been having some rough couple of weeks lately with me having to establish sources of income from thin air after quitting my job before settling my debts and car payments.

The days of having a job are played out in anyway so going back to a 9 to 5 would be going against the tide.

I built my castle in the air so now I guess it's time to begin building the foundations beneath it.

How knows, maybe I will use http://moneyfromanywhere.com/ and sell ebooks for a living *cough cough* :)

PS. This is why I love the readers of this blog, they have my back. Please read the comments below, it seems I was to early in dissing OpenOffice.org. Thank you again Kathryne Joy xoxoxo

I Would Like You To Read What Brian Tracy Has To Say About Clarity...

The Seven Step Process for Achieving Goals

Here, once more, is the simple, seven-step process that you can use to achieve your goals faster and easier than ever before.

First, decide exactly what you want in each area of your life. Be specific!

Second, write it down, clearly and in detail;

Third, set a specific deadline. If it is a large goal, break it down into sub-deadlines and write them down in order;

Fourth, make a list of everything you can think of that you are going to have to do to achieve your goal. As you think of new items, add them to your list;

Fifth, organize the items on your list into a plan by placing them in the proper sequence and priority;

Sixth, take action immediately on the most important thing you can do on your plan. This is very important!

Seventh, do something every day that moves you toward the attainment of one or more of your important goals. Maintain the momentum! Read more...

I Guess, In Life, That Would Be The Fun Part Of It All, How Plans Don't Have To Make Sense In Order For Us To Achieve Success

Have you ever considered doing something that has nothing to do - at a conscious level - with getting closer to the goal you have set for yourself but were enticed to do it regardless, as if it would be that butterfly effect my friend mentioned in passing?

How a single flap of a butterfly’s wing could cause a tidal wave due to the law of compounding action. Of how even our slightest gesture can lead to an endless series of effects that can have a dramatic effect on the whole planet.

Because most of us don’t see life from a bird’s view, the whole mosaic of it all.

We can’t see how even the most insignificant inspired act can eventually link to the major goals we set for ourselves. Our own customized tailor-fit ultimate shortcut to success.

“The Universe rewards action.” – Dr. Joe Vitale http://www.mrfire.com

Trust.

If you can’t trust yourself then who can you trust?

There are unexplainable events and thoughts that we have & come across in life. I am so, so, so tired of wanting to find out the "whys" in their functionality. Wallace Delois Wattles was right when he wrote how it was best I not waste my time in tumbling down the rabbit hole of why these ...laws, principles, truths work.

I should just get to using them and only after I get the results that I want would I then faff about the HOW they work.

It’s just that going on a limb over a hunch or an impulsive idea is so uncanny. I mean, what would the neighbours think (Musa grins)?

At some point we have to come to terms that we aren’t just these meat suits we carry around that need to go to the toilet, sleep and eat, amongst other things, but we are a condensed form of the same thing.

Energy.

A condensed form of energy that has instant access to Infinite Intelligence. I say this because energy does not die. It merely changes form.

Thought is energy.

So every thought man has ever thought still exists, right now, in invisible form. Like a vibration. Not “like” but it IS vibration since one of the characteristics of energy is that it vibrates.

Condensed meat suits of vibration we are.

We attract whatever it is we are in vibrational harmony with (the Law Of Vibration) and one of the ways we do this is is through thought.

Thoughts are things.

Infinite Intelligence.

Can you imagine the magnitude of this concept of Infinite Intelligence?

Of how you and I can gain access to the industry changing, technology advancing thoughts of others that have lived and are still living by merely tapping into the formless substance known as Infinite Intelligence.

Get a copy of Think and Grow Rich to get an idea of what I am talking about when I talk about "Infinite Intelligence."

And what if this Intelligence throws ”random” ideas in your head for the mere purpose of leading you towards the goals you continue to affirm and meditate over because (by Law) you are making it your dominate thought, your dominate vibration, therefore attracting it [the goal] within your line of consciousness?

Lately I've been reading about people who sit for ideas...

A businessman who literally cut himself off from the outside world for an hour an sat on a chair with a pen and paper ready on his desk until he received an inspired idea(s) that he used to make successful breakthroughs in his business.

That is one way of tapping into this abundant, infinite source of supply that anyone can hook on to at a conscious level for their personal development in life.

What a beautiful concept. Doesn’t that make you feel wealthy already? Don’t you just feel healthier just thinking about it? Pun intended. Doesn’t a sense of relief shower through your whole body just knowing that all you have to do is to sit it out for the answers to your most pressing concerns to be revealed to you?

I Wondered, “What Else Makes Successful People So Successful?” And It Came To Me, They Are Successful Because They Are Courageous

"Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be" - George Sheehan

There is a certain level of guts that one must have to set goal for herself, especially when she is surrounded by family & friends that are not accustomed to goal setting.

There was a time when I thought all I had to do was set goals for myself and that's all I had to do to become successful.

i.e. I used to just think about what I wanted to achieve and just leave it at that. I was led to believe that this was not goal setting, only wishful thinking.

I've come across people who don't have constructive goals in their lives. The aim at nothing, and they achieve nothing all the time, and my way of "achieving" success was no better.

As it turns out not only do I need to have goals of what I would want or become or do in my life but I need to develop the plans of successfully achieving these goals that I wanted.

That takes another calling up of those same guts I brought to the par the time I decided to want to achieve major goals that will affect my life and those of my family in a positive way.

It takes courage to have goals.

It takes courage to even think about writing out a plan on how to reach these goals.

But hold on to your hats folks 'cause that's not all, we need to woman up YET again, and call up this long distance friend by the name of Courage - who I would like to name as my 13th Disciple - for another round.

Because now that (1) we have goals, now that (2) we have plans of what we believe needs to happen for us to achieve these goals, we need to put the hammer to the nail and (3) take action on the plans we have setup for ourselves, and we do this so that we can reach the reason for all this effort (what Earl Nightingale calls "paying the price"), our goals.

So not only do I have to have the courage to even think about goals I want to achieve but I have to make plans for their realisation? And not only that, but I now I have to take action on the plans I have conjured up in order for me to reach my goals?

So much courage for someone like me how was conditioned to confirm and accept my fears as the master to which I was a slave to, is all too much too ask, I once thought.

That was all good and well until there was this rage inside of me that consumed me into taking action.

The anger that motivated me into action.

I used to cower in a little corner every time I feared to do something about my circumstances, to change them to the way I saw fit.

I saw that I can't change my circumstance so I changed ME first. And in that change I felt I needed to leave my undesired circumstance so to become something greater.

And every time I took that first step towards change fear rocks up and had me curling up like a pathetic conformist with an entitlement mentality, depending on a system that won't think twice of coughing me out all in the name of profit.

But as I continued reading self development books and listening to self help audios, watching motivational videos on YouTube and attending seminars that spoke about vehicles I can use to achieve "financial freedom", and over time I came to a point where a part of me just snapped.

I lost it and said to hell with it. I stood up from that corner, with my body shaking in absolute fury, I pointed my finger at fear and said, "TO HELL WITH YOU!"

And with that I took the courage I have always had and did the unthinkable. And freed myself from, as it turns out, a fear that a lot of people I was associated with were enslaved by.

I broke through my chains and I was surprised at how is it was.

It reminded me of that David and Goliath story of how just one swing took out the fear that every one else was making such a fuss about.

How just that one swing was able to rebuke the illusion of fear out of my sight.

But I have to admit it took some courage from my part.

Little courage, small courage, it's a semantics. Mountain or ant hill it's all in how you look at it.

Take action.

That's all you need to do to successfully eliminate your fears. Take action. Do the thing that you fear and you will become a stronger person as you make your way towards your heart's desire, as you slice your way through the Goliaths of your life.

Take that swing towards Goliath and liberate yourself from yourself.

But don't be surprised by how many of them pop up to intimidate you when faced with another situation that stirs you to action.

It's those disciplined swings you need to take ever so constantly that might take you off your game for a moment but always remember your sling, who knows, you might get so good at it that they would start leaving you alone.

The Magic Of Believing Success Is Assured

You wouldn't say but in life the only barriers we come across are the ones we set for ourselves.

We limit ourselves because we either tell ourselves that it won't work (whatever "it" is - usually it's guidance from God) in anyways even before we actually tried it or we get concerned about what the other person would say of thing about us as we strive for what we want.

Most of the life transforming, income generating, perfect relationship building, physical health stimulating, career advancing ideas never materialize because they only happen in the mind.

I've come to see that the only thing responsible for my success, or lack thereof, is my limiting thinking and limiting beliefs on how I should or shouldn't go about becoming a success, a high achiever.

We must find a way around these limiting beliefs and one way to do this is through action.

"Feel the fear and do it anyway." - Susan Jeffers

Another way of breaking through the concerns we have taught ourselves to accept is to imagine it going the way we would want it.

This reminds of the coach telling some footballer in the movie Any Given Sunday that he must see it before he does it, "See it before you do it!"

'Cause you see what's cool about that - emotional, vivid, clear, sensory visualization - is that if you do it well and often enough, you become an expert in something that you haven't done at a physical level.

An expert in your own mind. And once you own it here *pointing at head* then the next level of existence is its materialization.

Imagine and imagine and imagine it until we have the confidence to doing it on the physical plane.

I also found that one needs courage to even begin to apply the steps I offered above, but then again we have God as a resident cheerleader for that exact reason.

Ask God for guidance and the courage and strength to act on that guidance. Jesus did, and look what a difference we are told he made - and still is, making in the world.
