Thy Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven

I am sure you have noticed how when one who preaches holds a sermon, she can only preach The Word of God from her unique set of beliefs and habits, what is called paradigm.

He might be preaching a universal message but he can only put the message across from his perceptive, making the initial "universal message" subjective.

You cannot help but be subjective even if you believe you are offering objective views, they are still within the borders and standards of your own paradigm.

The paradigm, my paradigm, I would like to share with you today is the one I used to dissect the one line of The Lord’s Prayer, the line you see as the headline of this blog post.

This was something I would have easily ignored if it was not for me reading “The Power Of Positive Thinking,” a book recommend highly for you to add to your library.

This book will detail for you a number of techniques that puts into practice the teachings from The Bible.

Norman Vincent Peale will introduce you to what he calls “Applied Christianity” – that “something” you will take home with you after the Sunday service for you to use daily such as personalizing Bible verses into powerful affirmations to increase your Faith, your Self-Esteem, your Energy Levels, to improve your Business, your Relationships, your Health, even Heartaches.

“James 1:2-5”

You look at the line “Thy Will Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven” & you will see that it contains elements that are a direct translation of one of the 7 habits Dr. Stephen Covey wrote about in his all time classic “The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People,” which says you “Begin With The End In Mind.”

You create twice.

First in the Mind (in Heaven) then in the Physical (on Earth).

Manifestation is instantaneous for you because once you think it, you have it as picture in your Mind (in Heaven).

But with you being raised to base the truth on the physical evidence of it & not on the spiritual (mental) “possession” of it, whatever it is you hold in your mind you reject as false & wait – in vain – on the physical changes/ results.

Which is not the correct way of changing circumstance.

This is understandable, but not acceptable, because you have not been thoroughly taught that whatever is impressed on the mind, With Time will come to pass in your physical experience (on Earth).

“Matthew 21:22”

You can even look at it this way, say you have two departments in the same company working independent of one another instead of interdependently.

Department 1 (the Head Office) equals what your mind “sees” as a mental picture of hope but Department 2 (the Branch Office) equals what your physical eyes see.

But since the head office is in the process of sending the “memo” to the branch office, the branch office sees an empty table and immediately doubts that it is ever going to receive the memo that the head office is raving on about.

Your eyes, the branch office, doubts the process of creation and attraction and it therefore takes longer to receive, if ever, what it is you want.

This discord between the two departments will eventually be felt by the company, YOU.

When in truth what the company was born to do was to see what the mind creates with positive expectation (head office) and then delegate this information to the branch office, a mental picture it is to hold with unwavering faith and devout gratitude, believing that whatever it is your mind has created is making its way – FAST – to you.

If you then follow this process of creation to the letter & base your interaction with life on Truth rather than Appearance, you would then be living as God would.

From a point of creation and not competing, and thus “Thy Will” would “Be Done.”

“Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come,
thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory. for ever and ever. Amen”
