I Don't Know About You But I Don't Agree With All The Things Brian Tracy Says

"...it doesn’t matter where you’re coming from; all that matters is where you’re going." - Brian Tracy (Update: Originally said by Napoleon Hill in Think And Grow Rich published in 1923).

Well that was until recently when I saw how spot on he was with one of his goal setting principles that you can read now, once you get your hands on Goals!: How to Get Everything You Want -- Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible
.

Where in it he said you mustn't tell anyone about your goals, expect the people who will help you in reaching your goals.

Now I see that the energy you spend explaining and justifying your goals to others, you could have used to concentrate on progressively reaching your goals.

You also run the risk of people taking your ideas and benefiting from the like Bill Gates did with the Microsoft program.

"Don't tell people what you are going to do. Show them." - Brian Tracy.

That is why Brian Tracy refers to your goals as your Personal Goals.

Another reason that he advices not openly sharing your goals with others is because you might also run the risk of other people - strangers, associates, family members or even your partner -laughing or criticize or running your goals.

Blowing off your goals as something that can never be achieved.

And this "humorous" act has been noted by the likes of Napoleon Hill as one of the leading causes of failure.

So don't give them the opportunity of them limiting your potential by sharing your goals with them.

"Impossible is nothing." - Nike ad Adidas ad.

The first step to reaching your goals, from going from where you are to where you want to be, is to have them written down...

You know what?

Brian Tracy, the Guru of Goal Setting and Goal Achieving will lay it down for YOU clearly and perfectly, once you BUY yourself Goals!: How to Get Everything You Want -- Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible NOW!

Yours successfully,

Musa

Nice post

It was originally Napoloen Hill who said, "Don't tell people what you are going to do. Show them first."

It is in his book, Think and Grow Rich, published in 1923

And "Impossible is nothing" is an Adidas slogan
