Change how you feel by changing how you move your physical body...

Action Exercise

#1. Ask yourself what you do with your body when you are bored and tired.

Remember what I told you in the previous blog about how you are uniquely different from me, so what I do with my body could be a different ritual from what you do.

The best way to pick out what your bored and tired triggers are is to BE in that state via talking to yourself in front of a mirror or be it with a helpful friend.

So remember a time when you where tired and bored, and talk to yourself or a buddy (about something you were really passionate about) while in that uninterested state, for about 5 minutes tops.

#2. When you are done, write down what you did with your body when you were in that negative state.

What did you do with your body, as in the position of your chin, the angle of your body and your shoulders, the pace and tone you were speaking in, and other physical gestures you might have noticed.

This is where my list could be different from yours.

#3. Now get out of your negative state and now think of a time when you felt AWESOME! When you felt on top of your game, when you were amped!!

Hold that state of being excited and passionate...now talk to yourself or your mate for the next 5 minutes about something that you are really fascinated about, in that powerful, empowering state.

#4. Just like you did earlier now write down what you did with your body, while you were in that enthusiastic state.

Where you leaning forward?

What did you do with your hand gestures?

Was your back straight this time around?

Make a note of it, and other things you might have picked up during this exercise.

And there you go...

Now you have a recipe to use for when you want to get into powerful, positive state in order for you to behave differently.

Because it is from positive behaviors that you produce positive results.
